Unique Design: Accessible for Everyone
TechNetra’s design has been recognized as unique by the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks of the Government of India, which has granted it the Industrial Design Registration 407695-001.
This device has been designed such that it can be operated completely autonomously by visually impaired individuals, through the usage of tactile raised edge guides, braille markings on the control panel, audio feedback, and much more.
Advanced Technology
TechNetra using cutting-edge Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, along with AI-based speech synthesis algorithms, to convert documents and books to audio completely in real-time. It also provides users with the ability to pause, play, skip forward, rewind, change rate of speech, volume and much more!
Locally Manufactured: Affordable and Accessible
Our device is manufactured locally here in India, with all parts being sourced from Indian retailers, allowing us to provide visually impaired individuals with a device that is accessible, both in terms of user experience, and its price point.
Public Utility: Expanding Accessibility Beyond Individuals
Unlike other solutions, which can typically only be used by one person, a TechNetra unit can be installed in public spaces such as organisations for the blind, or public libraries, allowing hundreds, potentially thousands of lives to be impacted by a single device.
